Privacy policy

Huzuri is built by the Huzuri team (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect on this website, including the waitlist, and in the Huzuri app, including what we receive from your Google account, and what we do with it.

On this website

  • Your email address, when you join the waitlist. It’s the only thing we store about you.
  • Your IP address, which your browser sends with every request. We use it for a minute at a time to stop repeated sign-ups and don’t save it. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.
  • Your theme choice (light or dark), saved in your own browser. It is never sent to us.

We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We email waitlist members when early access opens, and occasionally about the launch, because you asked us to. You can withdraw that at any time.

In the Huzuri app

Huzuri is used by companies for their own teams. Your employer adds you and decides which parts of Huzuri they use: attendance (which can include face matching from the office camera), tasks, leave, meetings (recordings, transcripts and minutes), email, hiring and payroll. We hold and process that information for your employer and only on their instructions. If you have questions about how your employer uses it, ask them or write to us.

Information from your Google account

You choose what Huzuri can see. Each of these is asked for on Google’s own screen first.

  • Sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use only your email address, to find your account. We don’t store your Google password, and Google doesn’t share it with us.
  • Google Calendar, only if you connect it. We create, change and cancel the meetings you book in Huzuri (with their Google Meet links), and check when people are free so we can suggest a time.
  • Gmail, only if you connect it, and read-only. We read the sender, recipients, subject and the first part of each message’s text so we can sort your inbox by category and priority, catch spam and summarise urgent mail, and, when you open a message in Huzuri, its full text. For hiring mail we also read the CV attached to it (the first PDF or Word file), to spot job applications and add the sender as a candidate, and candidates’ replies, to keep their application up to date. We never send, delete or change your email. You and your company’s founders can read your connected Gmail in Huzuri.

We use this information only to provide these features to you. We don’t sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. People at Huzuri don’t read it, except with your permission, to keep the service secure, or where the law requires. We share it only with the service providers below, and only to provide the feature you’re using.

Huzuri’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

To stop Huzuri reading your Gmail, open Email in Huzuri, pick your mailbox and press Stop reading this mailbox. Its mail is removed from Huzuri. Connecting your Google again on the Meetings page brings your Gmail back, unless you untick Gmail on Google’s screen. To remove Huzuri’s access to Calendar and Gmail altogether, use your Google account’s third-party access page. We then stop using it. Ask us, and we delete what was synced.

Who sees it

Our team, and the companies that run parts of the service for us, only on our instructions. Each one gets only what its job needs:

  • Oracle Cloud, which hosts Huzuri on servers in Mumbai, India. It holds everything the app stores.
  • Cloudflare, which carries your connection to our servers and stores the files you upload (task photos, CVs, meeting recordings, face photos) and our nightly backups. Its Workers AI can also transcribe meetings and write minutes.
  • Groq, which turns meeting audio into text, writes minutes from transcripts, and reads email, CV and task text to sort mail, screen CVs and write summaries. For team overviews it also gets people’s names and roles with each person’s task, update, reminder and escalation counts, the title of one overdue task, the date of their last update and whether they’ve linked Telegram. For birthday notes it gets the person’s first name, job title and team, how long they’ve been with the company, a task they finished lately, whether they’re on leave that day, and the company’s recent birthday notes, for tone. It drafts the follow-up you can send when someone hasn’t replied: it gets the subject and text of the email you sent or, for a job offer, the candidate’s name and the job. It answers your questions in Ask Huzuri when Claude isn’t set up (then it gets what Anthropic would). It takes over TypeSafe’s questions, with everything TypeSafe would get, when TypeSafe isn’t set up or can’t answer.
  • Google (Gemini), which does the same work as Groq when it takes over, for example on a very long meeting.
  • Anthropic (Claude), which answers your questions in Ask Huzuri. It gets your question and, of what you can see, the tasks, people, attendance, leave, meetings, minutes, hiring (applicants’ names and the jobs they applied for), the calls Huzuri is waiting on you to make, and the sender and subject of important email that it needs to answer.
  • TypeSafe (Jev), which sorts email, spots job applications, reads candidates’ replies and scores CVs. It gets the sender, subject and text of a message and the text of a CV, with the titles of open jobs and the company’s screening criteria. For a candidate’s reply it also gets their name, the job, their hiring stage, when their interview is and whether an offer has been made, and for a shared inbox the company’s team names, with a line about each.
  • TwinlyAI, which scores CVs against a job description when a company uses Huzuri for hiring.
  • GitHub, which we ask about an applicant’s public code when a company runs a GitHub check. It gets their GitHub username.
  • Google (Firebase), which delivers the app’s notifications to your phone. It gets each one’s title and text.
  • Telegram, which delivers notifications to people who link it. It gets each one’s text.
  • The provider we use to send email. It gets the address and text of each notification email.

Groq, Google, Cloudflare and Anthropic process what we send them to give us an answer, and don’t use it to train their models. None of this AI work gets the salaries, PAN, bank details or face photos Huzuri keeps for payroll and attendance. The one exception is for founders and admins: Ask Huzuri can read the rupee cost of a recurring meeting that keeps making nothing, which Home shows them and which is worked out from what the attendees are paid. Emails and CVs are sent as written, so whatever is in them goes too.

We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist emails: until early access opens and we’ve written to you, then for up to 12 months unless you become a customer.
  • Meeting recordings: 30 days. The transcript and minutes stay with the meeting.
  • Face snapshots from the office camera: the number of days your employer sets. Attendance records stay.
  • Everything else in the app: while your employer uses Huzuri. When they close their account, or ask us to, we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to be taken off the waitlist. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe, or write to info.huzuri.ai@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. For information your employer holds in Huzuri, we work with them on your request. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.

Keeping it safe

Everything is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The keys that let Huzuri reach your Calendar or Gmail are stored encrypted, and each person sees only what their role allows. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to what the features need.

Children

Huzuri and its waitlist are for businesses, and not for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters to how we use your information, we’ll tell you before it applies. See also our terms of use.
